who we are

The WiLD Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Through the WiLD Foundation’s connection to WiLD Leaders, Inc., and their scalable Whole + Intentional  Leader Development Tools, WiLD Trust Platform™, we can bring world class, research-based, and theologically grounded training and tools to the intersections of the world where the need is the greatest. 

THE NEED.

Few of us would deny that our world is in the midst of a reformation, a radical change in values and dividing polarities. Whether it is the tension between relativism and fundamentalism, liberty and security, justice and mercy, love and truth, or diversity and unity - these are the paradoxes of our time. These tensions are not only ideological, they are also practical and structural. Who are the leaders who will lead in these complex times. Who are they and how will we prepare them?

Leader Awareness.

Leading well requires deep self-awareness of purpose, blind-spots, competencies, personality, motivations support, and learning. And, it also requires a deep awareness of the needs of others and the context within which we are leading.

Whether it be increasing leader agility, composure under pressure, self-awareness, or competence, deep-seated leader security requires getting leaders ready using the most rigorous and relevant tools and training possible.

OUR NEED.

We have already seen the impact of our whole and intentional leader development tools and associated training. The WiLD Foundation has been established to fund opportunities to take these same tools and trainings to the most ignored and under-supported high potential leaders, both here in the US and internationally. And, to put high capacity leaders on the fringes alongside those with tremendous experience and resourcing to help them learn from one another. This is all we need.

While leadership development has become a pithy catch-phrase that will likely be replaced by the next flavor of the week (i.e. multiplication, discipleship, succession planning, management training, or team building, servant leadership), leaders will never be out of style. Leaders are the people who have the courage to step out and go first, and care for those they lead.

FUNDING FOR LEADERSHIP SUPPORT: Funding allows us to resource staff and necessary systems and administrative support.

THE WiLD Trust Platform™ FOR SPECIFIC POPULATIONS IN THE GREATEST NEED: We have dozens of requests to put the WiLD Trust Platform™ in the hands of populations in the greatest need right now. 

WHOLE LEADER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS: It is our goal to put unlikely and under-represented high capacity leaders alongside experienced and corporate leaders so they can learn from one another.
